The Premier’s Growth Management Summit Forum Webcast

Recently the Premiers Dept held the Growth Management Summit Forum at the State Library, Brisbane.  The VAST-AV Production team was tasked with providing nine fully equipped workshop rooms networked including a common file server, internet, printers, projectors and screens.  These rooms saw all the attendees break up into smaller discussion groups to brainstorm ideas that were later accessed by the Premier in the closing forum.

The second aspect of this event was arranging for the Growth Summit to be Webcast around not only the Nation but ultimately world-wide.  The results spoke for themselves on this event.  The webcast went out to all via an internet address and the quality was exceptional – both Audio and Visually.  Words from the client “We have had an enormous amount of positive feedback for this event, with numerous comments about how well the event was run and presented - I think the word flawless was included a number of times”

 

 

Outdoor Cinema

The Brisbane City Council has VAST-AV working with one of our partners to provide the Friday Night cinema in King George Square.  This event has upwards of 50 attendees arrive in time to see a presentation by a local aboriginal group before the feature movie begins.  Recent titles have included Strictly Ballroom, High Society and Young Einstein.

VAST-AV in conjunction with Reel Cinema, provide a 7.5m outdoor inflatable screen, sound and projection to provide the feeling of being in a cinema only to realise the stars are above you.  The feedback on this event has been encouraging with many of those attending the evenings returning week after week.

 

 

Ipswich Events Corporation

This year saw Ipswich celebrate its 150th Birthday and VAST-AV’s 3rd year being involved in its organising.  Several organisations worked together on this event under the watchful eye of the Ipswich Event’s Corporation to bring together a bigger and better celebration than the year before.

This year had the VAST-AV Production team provide the visual component.  VAST-AV provided an across river projection using our high resolution projector to provide imagery for all to see.  VAST-AV was also involved in providing Audio Visual for the Mayor’s Ball which formed part of the celebrations.

 

 

Brisbane City Council – Free Lunchtime Concert

Brisbane City council - Free Lunchtime Concert

For the last few months now VAST-AV in conjunction with the Brisbane City Council have been supplying Audio / Visual equipment for these free lunchtime concerts in various churches around the Brisbane CBD.  These concerts until this year happened at City Hall and have been a part of the CBD for many years now.    However due to the re-development of City Hall this year they have been held around churches.  These spectacular venues have seen quite large groups attending these 1 hr events showcasing some of Brisbane’s awesome talents.


VAST-AV have now been a part of the Brisbane City Council’s – Free Lunchtime Concerts for the past 3 years and are looking forward to future involvement for years to come.

 

 

Lord Mayor’s Charity Trust – Fashion at Mercedes

This event saw VAST-AV work with the Lord Mayor’s Charity Trust to provide a scene that was nothing short of spectacular. The showroom of Mercedes-Benz, Fortitude Valley was converted into a catwalk of all catwalks, lined with some of the finest cars imaginable.

The VAST-AV Production team worked on providing a back drop and cat-walk to rival the best of them.  Not only did it look spectacular the feedback on the floor was nothing short of impressive. The event organisers have hailed the event a huge success.
